Foodie Friday- Oatmeal Scones

 
Oatmeal Scones
 
 
 
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 Tsp. baking soda
  • 1 Tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/2 Tsp. salt
  • 1 ounce butter
  • Buttermilk
Instructions:
 
  1. Mix dry ingredients, rub in butter, and add milk to make a soft dough. Roll out and cut into four or eight pieces. Bake on a hot griddle until risen and brown on one side. Turn over and bake other side.
  2. Can be served with butter, jam or maple syrup.
